Terms of Use

Last updated: June 12, 2026

This page sets out how things stand between you and Thailand Taxis whenever you use the site. I have kept it plain rather than piling up fine print, and it runs alongside my Privacy Policy.

Using the site means accepting this

Browsing thailandtaxis.com means you take on these terms and the Privacy Policy. If some of it does not suit you, the honest answer is to leave the site be.

Know-how, not a booking or a guarantee

The whole site exists to help you understand how getting around Thailand works. That makes it general information and travel know-how, and it is no substitute for confirming the current position with an operator, an official body, or your own judgement on the day. Nothing here books anything, sells you a ticket, quotes you a firm price, or promises that a route, fare or timetable will be as I describe when you get there. My Travel Disclaimer is part of these terms, so please read it before you lean on anything you find.

What is mine, and what you may do with it

Unless I say otherwise, the writing, the structure and the design here are mine and protected by copyright. You are welcome to read them for your own non-commercial use, to link across to my pages, and to quote a short passage as long as the credit is clear. What is not on is republishing or redistributing large stretches of the site without my written permission, or passing my words off as official transport advice or as your own work.

Using the site decently

Please use the site honestly and with a little consideration. Do not try to disrupt or overload it, do not point automated tools at it that put an unreasonable strain on it, and do not bend it to any unlawful purpose.

I regularly send you on to other websites: airports, railways, government travel advice, and sometimes a booking or aggregator site where you can buy a train, bus or ferry ticket. Those sites are outside my control. Their content, their prices, their accuracy and the way they handle your money and your data are their responsibility, not mine. If you book or pay through one of them, that is a contract between you and them, and I am no part of it. Following any such link is your own decision.

Warranties and the limit of my liability

I work to keep what I write accurate and current, but I cannot warrant that it is complete, free of error, or right for any one trip, and it reaches you “as is”. As far as the law allows, Thailand Taxis carries no responsibility for loss, injury, cost or damage arising from how you use, or what you take from, the site and its content. Decisions about how you travel, and the risks that come with them, rest with you.

If these terms change

These terms may shift as the site grows or the law moves. The “Last updated” date at the top shows which version stands, and staying with the site means you accept it. If something here raises a question, the Contact page is open to you.
